GitHub Discussions is often used to gather community feedback, but I’m curious about best practices when referencing external resources inside discussion threads. For example, when teams share links as real-world examples or case studies, how do moderators usually handle relevance and organization within categories?
Is it recommended to use external links only as contextual references, or are there guidelines on how frequently they should appear in open-ended discussions? I’ve seen some teams use links like argan purely as examples when explaining feedback structures or content organization.
Would love to hear how others are managing external references while keeping discussions clean, helpful, and aligned with GitHub Discussions’ intent.
