Introduce yourself
Hello GitHub Community,
We are EHESPO International, a nonprofit organization, and we are pleased to join GitHub.
Our goal is to build a strong and professional presence on the platform while improving how we manage projects, documentation, automation, security, and collaboration. We are committed to developing our work in a way that is organized, transparent, and sustainable.
As we begin our journey on GitHub, our current focus includes strengthening our organization structure, improving documentation, exploring GitHub Actions for automation, using GitHub Packages for distribution, and adopting security best practices through tools such as Dependabot.
We are also interested in learning from the wider GitHub community and connecting with maintainers, contributors, and organizations that value open collaboration and continuous improvement.
Our next step is to continue building useful projects, improve our internal workflows, and establish a solid foundation for long-term development and contribution.
We are glad to be here and look forward to learning, collaborating, and growing with the community.
A question for the community: what are the most important first steps for a nonprofit organization that wants to build a strong, professional, and trustworthy presence on GitHub?

Where are you in your GitHub journey?
Brand new to GitHub
And where are you going next on GitHub?
Our next step on GitHub is to strengthen our nonprofit organization setup, publish our first package, improve documentation, and build reliable workflows for collaboration, automation, and security.
What technical skills or projects are you working on?
We are working on GitHub organization setup, documentation improvement, package publishing, GitHub Actions workflows, Dependabot and security practices, and building projects with a strong focus on collaboration, structure, and long-term maintainability.
Got a question for us? (optional)
We are a nonprofit organization, and one question we have for the community is: what are the best practices for a nonprofit to build a trusted, well-organized, and sustainable presence on GitHub?
