It's Feb 2018 and:

1. JDK 1.7 is hard to download, Oracle is trying to erase 1.7 of history of human kind.
2. JDK 1.9 stable version is released.
3. Eclipse with JDK 1.8 parcially works.
4. People buy the book but don't have full support. My Campus have like 20 units of that.
