The Indonesian translation of the Python docs has been inactive since Python 3.9, with the last recorded commit made on April 2, 2021. Attempts to contact the currently listed coordinator or other contributors have not been successful, and no new contributions can be made without write access to the repo.
In the most recent Documentation Community Team Meeting, I expressed interest in becoming the new coordinator, with no objection from those present. If approved I hope to get the project started again.

Was this discussed in the recent meeting? This also applies to the bengali translation, who would like to get going with a new coordinator.
At the April community meeting, it was suggested that the EB might approve a general process for appointing a new coordinator. Would the board agree to this? For example, perhaps if an existing coordinator has not responded to contact within two weeks, and the proposed coordinator has been nominated by an EB member or core developer, the proposed coordinator can be granted appropriate permissions?
