Describe what maintenance you would like added.

The nest_asyncio repo has been archived as of March 2024 and the latest pypi release was in Jan 2024. It is already behind, as its monkey-patched asyncio.run doesn't support the same interface as asyncio.run as of python 3.12 (missing the loop_factory argument). The dependency seems like a liability.
