Many textbooks say trees in random forest should not do post-prune. But a Pessimistic Error Pruning can actually improve the performance of random forest(and also GBDT) in some dataset. At least I have tested it in 3 datasets, and it did improve the log loss.
So I'm wondering whether we should implement this option in the library.
