Hi, I’m Francesco. I’m building ESPectre, an open-source project that turns a tiny ESP32 into a Wi-Fi motion sensor.
When someone moves through a room, they change the way Wi-Fi signals travel through it. ESPectre reads those changes and reports motion in real time. No camera, no microphone, no wearable, and no dedicated radar hardware: just a supported ESP32 and the Wi-Fi network already in the room.
Contributions pay for boards and other test hardware, and let me try ESPectre in more rooms and on different setups. They also cover infrastructure and give me more time for releases, documentation, and support.
If you use ESPectre for home automation, research, or a prototype, buying me a coffee helps me keep it maintained and test it on more hardware. Thank you ❤️
