This probably isn't the first nor the last AI wrapper that exports a brand in various forms based on a prompt, but it's cool to see this area getting explored more. I'm not entirely sure what you'd like from the Style Dictionary team or what in particular you would like to contribute? |

So earlier this month I was selected to participate in a hackathon, the goal provided to us was to build in a single day any app that enabled a specific web 3 chain payments on the network. While there were many good participants in the event, ultimately I ended up with personal issues and having to navigate between the already taxing requirements of my project and the personal drama I had to address. My project did not make it even to the submissions.
Here is the documentation (mostly) to the project, feel free to explore:
https://docs.machups.com/
However, I did make a huge amount of progress towards finishing it. And that's where we meet here in this discussion since I obviously spent a great deal of time and resource planning and executing whatever I could. The end goal for me was: Create a logo (3 ofthem) and complete brand for a potential customer, a short list of (longer for paying) UI components, ARIA compliant color scheme, CSS, and a rapidly deployed sample of the newly generated brand website to a subdomain for them to observe in production for a short or extended period.
I wanted to meter these features on the blockchain payment network so this would keep the costs of the model use in line with breaking even or slightly above negative since this is and was, after all, a joyride project. All I cared about was finishing and presenting a lightning fast professional grade styling that any business or startup could spend a few bucks on and get high quality design in return with a peek at how it will actually look once built.
Doing all of these things in a day is a crazy idea for starters but I wanted to do it all in under 3 minutes end-to-end from the customers point of view. Doing this all for react/next/typescript is further testimony to the truly cocked and borderline schizophrenic mindset that surely it is possible if first I say that it is, since defeating yourself beforehand with a single statement is all that you need to truly make it impossible.
I admit, I did in fact fall short. This project though, I don't want it to die and I referenced Style Dictionary in it allowing design tokens to be exported in a format that would be easily imported to. I finished a large portion of the features that day, and I wanted to check here, and see if there was any takeaways to gain from that hackathon that maybe a living and breathing project might like to have? So here I am and I would like to contribute anything at all but the most important features based on what community input is?
So, proposing to contribute some time into this, if you are also welcoming to the idea?
Cheers and thank you in advance.
