I've been thinking about this for a while, from a digital sovereignty and resilience perspective, I think it would be valuable for Symfony to have, at the very least, an official mirror on Codeberg.
I'm not suggesting migrating away from GitHub or replacing it.
The idea would simply be to avoid relying entirely on a single platform and to have official Symfony repositories hosted in Europe as well.
It could also help strengthen Symfony's presence within the European open-source ecosystem.
