Active downloads and history temporarily disappear after app reload #319

Description

@mrrauf99

OmniGet version

Latest version

Operating system

Windows 11

Platform / site that failed

No response

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start a download.
  2. While the download is still in progress, refresh/reload the desktop application.
  3. Observe the Downloads page immediately after the reload.
  4. Observe the History page.
  5. Wait for the application to finish restoring its state.
  6. Observe that the download eventually appears again.
  7. Repeat the process while a download is active and check whether the "Unfinished downloads" prompt appears.

Expected behavior

After reloading the application:

  • Active downloads should continue uninterrupted.
  • Active downloads should remain visible in the Downloads page.
  • Download history should remain intact and should not temporarily appear empty.
  • The "Unfinished downloads" prompt should not appear for downloads that are already active and continuing.
  • The recovery prompt should only appear for genuinely interrupted downloads that require recovery.

Logs

No relevant errors are currently available in the application logs.

The issue appears to be related to download state restoration and initialization timing after an application reload.

Checks

  • I searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • I am on the latest release
