There's over $55,000 USD available in the Bootstrap OpenCollective account. Unfortunately none of it has been spent since March 2022. There's also Github Sponsors. The monthly income or current balance isn't public from that, so I don't know what's there or if it's being spent. I'd be happy if they spent some money on anything - pizzas, laptops, small amounts of cash as "thank you" gifts, whatever - just so long as it gets spent on something related to the developers! Obviously if there's contractors available to implement new features that would be great too. But spending the money on anything is better than it just sitting in a non-interest-paying bank account where inflation is slowly eating away our donations each month. |

After 6 years of monthly donations via OpenCollective, I've cancelled my donations today. It feels like my donations have been effectively useless - they simply haven't been spent on anything in the last four years. It's now over $56,000 sitting there slowly evaporating! Please spend it! On anything! |

That's more than fair, sorry about not doing more there. Let me see where we can best put that to use. I haven't pulled anything from it for myself because I have a full-time gig. I've always wanted to send this to contributors and we've funded a couple things in the past, but nothing recent. I'll get a plan together and see where we can allocate. |

"The team work on Bootstrap in their spare time" (for which our respect and thanks - you've helped a lot of people).
Would looking for commercial level funding help, i.e. enough funding to give up the day jobs, or employ developers.
