I downloaded Winpython64-3.12.4.1.exe package and extracted it on my Win 10 system.

It contains an "WinPython Control Panel.exe" file.

When I double click on it a windows opens with a commandline interface wpcp.bat

But I want to start the WinPython Control Panel GUI like shown here:

https://github.com/winpython/winpython/wiki/Installation#registration

How can I start this GUI?

Thank you

it's been removed:

  • it was a lot of code to carry on
  • it was not in small WinPython version
  • it was pretty slow on big version
  • the command line version is better
  • future of Qt is unclear

wppm --register
