This isn't completely fixable, but enabling full-shadow for it should help. For most GTK windows, this window rule is worth a shot: |

Example:
I would like to have it displayed without the transparent "border" inside the shadow (I use shadows as a way to make windows glow). Using XFCE with XFWM as my environment.
I know it's possible to configure it to not have this weird issue because I've seen people doing just that.
