World-making
A meditation and writing practice

Dearest Hearts,
What kind of world do you want to live in?
This is a question that has haunted me at my sketchbook and on my meditation cushion for the last few days.
My practice1 is what sturdies me for encountering the world on its own terms and inspires me to continue living in to the world I want to see.
This, of course, is not a new practice: not for me and certainly not within the practice. But it’s worth repeating again and again that what we are practicing, we are becoming. Why not be intentional about our own orientation?
Today, I want to share a pair of practices with you: meditation and writing. These can be done together or separately, in any order. They can (and should!) be repeated as often as you like.
