ManaCube Quality Assurance Team
The ManaCube QA Team is made up of trusted, experienced players from every realm who help test upcoming features, report bugs, and give meaningful feedback to improve the overall player experience.
As a QA member, you’ll get early access to unreleased content, work directly with Admins and Developers, and play a key role in shaping the future of the network.
What Does a QA Member Do?
QA members help test and validate changes across the server. Responsibilities include:
- Identifying bugs and exploits, and submitting detailed reports
- Verifying that bug fixes actually resolve the intended issue
- Participating in beta testing for seasonal updates and new features
- Giving clear, constructive feedback on game mechanics, balancing, and usability
- Suggesting new ideas or improvements to enhance gameplay
- Staying active in-game and on Discord to help identify concerns and player pain points
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for reliable, observant players who want to contribute to the server in a meaningful way. If you apply, you should:
- Be familiar with the realm(s) you're applying for
- Have played actively on that realm for at least one month
- Use a full-access, unshared Minecraft account
- Not be staff on another Minecraft server
- Be willing to dedicate time to testing and feedback when requested
- Be able to communicate clearly and give constructive, honest feedback
- Follow all ManaCube rules and have no recent major or permanent punishments
Confidentiality & Conduct
Everything shared in the QA Discord is strictly confidential.
Leaking unreleased content or internal discussions without approval from Admins or Owners will result in immediate removal from the team and banned from the network.
QA members are also expected to:
- Represent the team professionally both on Discord and in-game
- Behave appropriately on live servers (punishments may result in removal)
- Stay respectful and focused during team discussions
Applications
QA applications open periodically depending on the team’s needs and upcoming beta phases.
Applications are reviewed by the Admin team, and new members are onboarded in waves once selections are made.
Be sure to watch Discord for announcements when applications open!
There is no minimum word count for your application. However, we expect thoughtful responses that show genuine interest in the role.
Take your time to answer carefully, quality is much more important than length. Rushed or one-word answers may hurt your chances of being accepted.
If accepted, you’ll be invited to the QA Discord, where you’ll participate in testing phases, contribute feedback, and collaborate with the team on improving upcoming content.
