Retrieves detailed local business and point-of-interest information through the Brave Search API. You first run a web search with a location filter to get POI IDs, then pass those IDs to this endpoint to get ratings, hours, contact info, addresses, and distance calculations. Supports up to 20 POIs per request.
Gets structured business details like hours, ratings, and contact info in one API call instead of scraping multiple review sites individually.
When to use it
- Looking up hours and contact info for a restaurant before heading out
- Building a local business directory filtered by cuisine type and price range
- Checking if a nearby store is currently open based on its operating hours
- Comparing ratings and review counts across several coffee shops in an area
- Pulling address and coordinate data for POIs to plot on a map
