Bring the real problem
A portfolio, client site, bug, or idea you want to turn into something real.
Bring the project that keeps stalling. I’ll help you untangle the hard parts, understand the “why,” and leave every session with working code and a clear next move.
I keep my mentoring roster deliberately small so every student gets focused preparation and attention. You do not need to be advanced—but you do need to be ready to show up, practise, and apply the feedback.
const goal = 'ship it';
function lesson(project) {
understand(project);
practice('with feedback');
return confidence++;
}
// You write every important line.
lesson(yourRealProject);
The best part of every lesson
A better way to learn
Generic courses can’t see where you’re stuck. I can. We work in the gap between “I watched it” and “I can build it myself.”
A portfolio, client site, bug, or idea you want to turn into something real.
You stay at the keyboard while I explain, question, pair, and unblock.
Working code, sharper instincts, and a focused plan for what comes next.
From your first lesson onward
You do not need a polished project or a perfect plan before we meet. The first lesson gives us a useful starting point; every later lesson builds from your progress and current priorities.
We identify your goal, experience level, and biggest blocker. Then we work on a practical piece of your real project together so I can see how you think and explain things at the right level.
We begin with what changed since the previous session, solve the next important problem, and adjust your learning path as your skills and project grow.
Questions between lessons
Send short follow-up questions within 30 days of your lesson. I reply within two business days. Larger debugging or build work is best saved for a live session.
Need more live time?
Additional 60-minute lessons are available online or in person in Hilversum for €89 each. They are paid separately and depend on availability.
Local, practical, personal
Looking for a web development mentor—or personal programmeerles in Hilversum—who can work with your actual code? Lessons are available locally in Hilversum and online, with each session shaped around your experience, project, and goals.
Start with HTML and CSS, strengthen your JavaScript, or get focused help with PHP, Symfony, databases, testing, debugging, and deployment. You stay at the keyboard and learn by building something real.
Meet locally in Hilversum or choose a live online mentoring session from home.
Bring a portfolio, client website, application, bug, or idea you want to ship.
Each private lesson lasts 60 minutes and ends with practical next steps.
Learn the stack, not tricks
Start wherever you are. We’ll connect the pieces that make modern web apps feel mysterious.
Semantic structure, responsive layouts, Tailwind, accessibility
The DOM, APIs, async code, Stimulus and Turbo
Clean OOP, databases, security, testing and UX components
Git, debugging, code review, performance and deployment
Common questions
Yes. You can start with HTML and CSS or bring whatever you have already tried. Lessons adapt to your current level.
Absolutely. Working through your real code makes explanations more relevant and gives you useful progress during the lesson.
Lessons can cover HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Symfony, SQL, Git, testing, debugging, performance, and deployment.
A small, serious roster
My available teaching time is limited. I reserve it for people who want to make real progress—not simply collect another explanation.
Bring your code, attempts, questions, and the problem you genuinely want to solve.
Use the next steps between lessons instead of waiting for the next session to move forward.
Apply feedback, return with new evidence, and keep turning guidance into independence.
“Good mentoring doesn’t make you dependent on the mentor. It makes you better at solving the next problem yourself.”
