Yeah, you’re right. How do I make it go in parallel lines? I’m using Creality Print, btw.

I tried it again, and for whatever reason it’s working now. May be I did something subtly wrong the previous time

No, I need to get back to it. I figured out how to do my original thing for which I was doing this tutorial in the first place, so didn’t go back to figure this one out.

It’s print in place, but it took close to 7 hours to complete

Should I not rub it until it evaporates, but rather just apply a thin film and let it evaporate?

Ah. I wiped it with alcohol before printing, but I guess that doesn’t actually remove the fingerprints.

I love the idea though. Hopefully there’s an actual camera mount for Ender 3 V3 along z axis that doesn’t have this issue.

eh, I like this guy better

I feel like I’m dumb because the movie was great, but I don’t really relate to the level of hype and critical reviews for this movie. May be some finer things flew above my head.

Wait till you watch the movie they made about vi and emacs

That would be amazing, thank you! If you could also give me the project file, I’ll use it to learn how to do it.

Thank you for clearing that up

Thanks for the advice. I’m still learning, so what makes you say regular supports would be better for this compared to tree? I always struggle to get off tree supports from thin/skinny parts and end up breaking them.

Thanks for the details. Freecad is the first modeling software I’ve tried. I was just struggling because I followed the exact same steps from the video, but I can’t make a pocket. I’ll try your steps and see if it works.

I did that last night, but couldn’t get the supports to show up for under the gourd like thing.
. I thought may be orca knows it better than me on supports, but sure enough it detached itself midway. What’s worse, I woke up this morning and tried to remove the supports on the face, and they were super hard to remove. I pulled them with needlenose pliers and ended up ripping off the whole face of the instrument. Are my settings wrong, or did I just let it cool down too much? I used the settings from here https://www.reddit.com/r/OrcaSlicer/comments/15yjz2a/best_tree_support_settings_ive_used/

If I were to design one like this, where would I best go? I’m learning Freecad, but I assume Blender is more suited for this thing?

lol yeah it’s a traditional string instrument from the south of India. It’s around the size of a bass guitar
