CapiSuite is an ISDN CAPI telecommunication suite providing easy to use telecommunication functions which can be controlled from Python scripts. CapiSuite is also distributed with example scripts for call incoming handling and fax sending.

The project purpose is to allow SAP R/3 servers to communicate with external devices such as fax and GSM modems by sending and receiving a fax or SMS. The system provides an easy way of configuration based on web interface and JMX console.

Application in Python for simple, paperless use of faxes. Speeds up usage of faxed documents (i.e. view them, make notes on them, print, and save the editted version somewhere). Has a GUI and will cooperate with pharmacy tracking software.

'Il Filo' is intended to become a quick and dirty gui client for Hylafax written in Python, simple but useful, multi-os and, best of all, open source.

This project is to design a Gnome/GTK based fax application aimed at gnomeoffice. It provides a front-end for mgetty+sendfax (including full configuration), and can act as a fax interface for openoffice.org and fax to e-mail interface.

hylaPEx is a client for hylafax totally written in python. It can read and view the sended and received fax. Support either tiff and ps/pdf formats. Can use redmon for create a virtual fax print. Support shared contacts with a mysql db.

W2hfax is a windows client for hylafax. The client is based on a active-x library that is written in python. The active-x library can also be used to send fax in word or excel. The windows client itself is written in visual basic.

This project is intended for users who want to get more out of the voice modem they may have. Why another project for modem? Looking for the good quality software for the voice communication trough the modem, I could find only Win32 based. Linux now :)
