Resolved -
The recent TikTok channel disconnections were caused by an issue on TikTok’s side and were not the result of any action taken by users or employees/engineers.
TikTok released changes that caused some existing authorization tokens to stop working. As we do not have access to TikTok’s internal systems, we are unable to investigate the root cause further. Our Product Partnerships team has reached out to TikTok to support their investigation.
What we did:
On the 23rd, we retried previously failing authorizations.
This restored a number of affected TikTok channels.
What may still be required:
Some channels will still need to be manually reconnected to restore full functionality.
For now, due to the lack of disconnection events we are marking this issue as resolved however we are monitoring on a long term basis.

Investigating -
We are aware of an issue where TikTok channels are intermittently disconnecting for some clients. This may result in temporary interruptions to data ingestion, publishing capabilities, and the availability of Engage and Measure functionality while channels are disconnected. In some cases, channels may require reconnection during this period.
Our teams are actively investigating the behaviour and are working directly with TikTok to understand the cause of these repeated disconnections. At this time, there is no indication of permanent data loss; however, delays in data ingestion and gaps in publishing, engagement, or measurement activities may occur while the issue persists.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.
