Tilda is a drop down terminal emulator that pulls down from the top of the screen instead of opening as a normal window.
It includes configurable hotkeys, tab support, a search bar, and settings for appearance and window behavior.
It runs on Xorg desktops, and can also work on Wayland through Xwayland with D-Bus based toggling.

How to install Tilda
The best way to install Tilda is from your distro package manager, Debian, Ubuntu, and Linux Mint would have the packages hosted.
From source, create a build directory, run ../autogen.sh --prefix=/usr, then make --silent, then sudo make install.
