• 8 months? Really?Yes. We uninstalled VS Code. No diffs, no code review, nobody supervising agents. The engine does all of that internally. We look at the software running, never at the code.
• Why can't agents just write clean code?Because nothing makes it rational for them to. An agent is judged on finishing the task in front of it, as cheaply and as fast as it can. It never pays for the shortcut it takes to get there, so it takes the shortcut every time, and the next agent inherits it.
• Why not just use Claude Code?Think about building a skyscraper. Claude Code and Codex get you about fifteen floors up before the whole thing falls apart, because nothing underneath was built to carry more. We build the foundations. That is what decides how tall you can go.
• How is this not an agent loose on my repo?Because we don't trust agents on their own either. An agent only ever gets a microtask. Bigger work gets decomposed first, then run through validation loops and constraints it can't skip.
• Who is this for?Anyone building software with agents who has seen what they leave behind. It works well for the first few weeks. After that the debt compounds and the repo turns into something nobody can safely change.
• What does it cost?Nothing, if you run it on your own machine. You pay for capacity when you want it running on our cloud engine instead.
