Senator Hartland de Montarville (1907-2002) Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Molson joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1939 and was wounded during in the Battle of Britain. He later became a member of the Canadian Senate, was appointed in 1955 and served 38 years. He was a Director of the Molson Brewery for over 50 years and at various times, held the posts of president, chairman and honorary chairman of the brewery, but was best known for his association with the Habs.
