🎬 Bitrise customers aren't affected by Copy Fail, Dirty Frag, or Fragnesia. Here's a short explainer video on what these local privilege escalation vulnerabilities are and why your builds stay safe. Every Bitrise-hosted build runs in its own dedicated, ephemeral VM on our stacks, spun up when your workflow starts and destroyed the moment it ends. Nothing from one customer's build ever touches another's. Every customer already has root inside their own build VM by design (it's your environment to do what you need with), so a local privilege escalation bug gains an attacker nothing they didn't already have. 💜 What happens when people know exactly what it takes to grow? Only 24% of workers globally feel confident they have the skills to reach the next level.* That makes career clarity one of the most powerful things a company can offer its people. That's why we sat down with every Bitrise engineer to listen. Three key themes came up: clearer expectations at each level, more transparency around promotions, and better tools for growth conversations. So we built a competency framework to address all three. Swipe to see what we learned, and how it's helping people thrive at Bitrise. The fastest mobile teams aren't faster because they work harder. They're faster because their infrastructure is built for mobile, not retrofitted from generic CI. ⏬ The Win at Mobile DevOps playbook breaks down what those teams actually do differently. Inside: → The 7 signs your Mobile DevOps setup is working (and what to fix when it isn't) → Infrastructure choices that hold up as mobile teams scale → Testing strategies you can trust on release day → Visibility across pipelines and releases without bolted-on tooling → Reducing the code signing, build, and distribution work that eats Fridays → AI-assisted workflows that compound, instead of adding risk Find out if your setup is actually performing here: 🔗 https://bit.ly/3Rhk6cp #MobileDevOps #CICD #MobileEngineering

1,350 hotels. 78 countries. Topping the list of non-negotiables: guest trust. 🤝 When Hyatt set out to modernize its mobile CI/CD, iOS Architect Dimitar Milinski and his team led the search. Security was the primary driver. So they turned to Bitrise on AWS. 💙 The move to Bitrise on AWS also reshaped how Hyatt's mobile team ships. Builds went from up to 90 minutes to about 10. Test runs dropped from 45 minutes to 10 and now run reliably. Dimitar gets specific about what they accomplished in the full Q&A. The only build cache built for React Native projects is now live! ⚛️ Until now, most React Native pipelines have leaned on key-value caching as a workaround. One pod update or one Gradle version change, and the entire cache got thrown out. The build started from scratch. Bitrise Build Cache for React Native splits caching into three independent layers: 🤖 Gradle for Android 🍎 Xcode for iOS ⚙️ ccache for the C/C++ that React Native quietly leans on Now, when a native dep changes, only the affected parts invalidate. The rest of your cache stays warm. A single dashboard groups every Gradle, Xcode, and ccache invocation under the React Native command that triggered it. It can run anywhere your team builds. Bitrise CI, another CI, a laptop. Same cache, same hit rate, faster builds. The bitrise-build-cache react-native CLI wrapper sits in front of yarn, npm, or npx, so adopting it doesn't mean rewriting your pipeline. Built to save mobile engineering teams hundreds of hours. 🎬 Pick the part of your CI/CD pipeline AI hasn't touched yet. It's a short list. AI is moving from something devs use on the side to a participant in every stage of the pipeline. Build fixing, code review, automatic pipeline generation. Remote dev environments running as shared infrastructure for humans and AI agents. And the fast feedback loops underneath that keep any of it useful. In this on-demand webinar session, Naveen Nazimudeen, Senior Solutions Engineer at Bitrise, walks through the three layers of AI-powered CI/CD: what's working today, what's coming next, and where the real opportunities are. "Nobody reads anymore." We hear it all the time. But Substack is proving the opposite. 📬 Tens of millions of subscribers now use the app to follow writers, podcasters, and video creators directly. As that audience grows, so does the bar for Substack's mobile experience. The team consolidated four CI tools onto Bitrise so they could ship faster across iOS and Android without juggling fragmented infrastructure. We sat down with Engineering Manager John Malatras and Senior Mobile Developer Alex Sullivan to talk about what's next for the Substack mobile app, and what they're building with Bitrise behind it. AWS Summit London + Bitrise Connect, all in one day. 🇬🇧 The conversation that ran through everything: AI is writing more of the code. The bottleneck moved to builds, tests, and releases. Coding stopped being the slow part, and the rest of the pipeline is feeling it. Most of our booth chats were with mobile teams already running on AWS for compliance or data sovereignty. Bitrise on AWS gives them mobile CI/CD inside that environment without managing the underlying infrastructure themselves. ✨ From the floor: 🎟️ Our raffle queue politely annexed our neighbors' booth space. We owe them coffee. 🤖 Bitbot made friends across the entire expo. He has more London selfies than any of us. Big shoutout to our wonderful partners over at AWS. Our work together would not be the same without the caring folks across the account, partnership, dev advocate, and EC2 Mac teams: Nathália Sobrinho, Lisa Stahl, Sébastien ☁ Stormacq, and Kyle Krall. See you again soon, London! #Bitrise #AWSSummit #BitriseConnect #AgenticAI #CICD

⚛️ For React Native teams: OTA updates don't bypass app store rules. They operate inside boundaries that Apple and Google have each defined, and the boundaries look different on each store. We pulled the actual policy text from both stores, mapped what each one permits via OTA, and put together a five-point pre-release checklist your team can run before every push. If you're already using OTA or deciding whether to adopt it, this is the context worth having before your next release. Substack. 🧡 What began as a newsletter platform a decade ago is now one of the fastest-growing homes for independent writers, creators, thinkers, and increasingly global brands. With tens of millions of active subscribers, that explosive growth meant one thing: Substack’s mobile CI had to keep pace with its ambition. They chose Bitrise to make it happen. Their results: – 40-50% faster build speeds for iOS and Android – 75% reduction in CI tooling – 100% increase in test coverage “We’re a small, lean mobile team supporting an app used by millions of people, so we don’t have much bandwidth to manage CI/CD. Now with Bitrise in place, everything just works, which is the best result.” – John Malatras, Engineering Manager, Substack Read the full story: 🔗 https://bit.ly/41z3RcA #Bitrise #CICD #MobileDev #iOS #Android
