Welcome to *My Kind of Meeples*! Feel free to RSVP and join us for an evening of board gaming fun. Arrive from **6:30pm** for a relaxed chat and a chance to get to know everyone. If you’re new, please introduce yourself to one of the hosts — they’ll be happy to welcome you and help you settle in. At **7:00pm**, we’ll begin with our first game, selecting games for the night. Anyone who has brought games with them is invited to offer them up with a brief overview and an indication of the difficulty level. You’re free to join any game that interests you, and we’ll make sure everyone has something to play. If a game is new to you, it will always be taught beforehand, with a quick refresher for returning players if needed. We play a wide range of games, typically lasting between **1 and 3 hours**. Multiple games run at the same time, and there’s usually at least one beginner-friendly option as well as a more advanced game available each evening. The night usually runs until closing time (around **11:00pm**), and depending on the games you choose, you may even fit in more than one game. Hello Richmond Socialites It’s the annual Oxford - Cambridge Boat Race, and as usual the Half Moon will be celebrating in style, as will we! 14.21pm - 80th Women's race, Putney Embankment - screens in pub and garden 15.21pm - 171st Men's race, Putney Embankment - screens in pub and garden Watch the races start at the nearby Putney embankment, then catch the winners on the screens, and enjoy the afternoon with live music and DJs. The Half Moon's famous Burger Shack and outdoor bars are also open throughout the day. **This will be a very busy afternoon.** Seats are not guaranteed but it will be fun to watch together. Come and go as you please. Last year it was warm and sunny and we got a lovely spot in the garden, so fingers crossed this happens again. It provides the essential skills and confidence to manage real-life incidents in the field. Cost: £140 per person (Plus Meetup booking fees This is a nationally recognised qualification, regulated by Ofqual and awarded through ITC First. We're confident you will have a great time and will want to come and sail with us again, but we're happy to refund your membership fee if, after your taster day, you decide membership is not for you.
