1. The teacher greets the students and checks the attendance.

Activities:
2. The teacher chooses the speaker to run the debate.
3. The teacher informs everyone that the debate competition will be done that day.
4. The teacher explains the debaters roles, and the roles of the audience.
5. Next, the teacher explains some rules that everyone should follow throughout the
debate.
6. The teacher becomes the adjudicator. However, the teacher also acts as the speaker
to assist the student who is appointed as the speaker.
7. Conclusion: the government will try her best to get the audience to accept the
motion while the opposition will try their best to get the audience to reject the motion.
Reflection: Some did quite well while some were just like statue due to very limited
experiences when they were in primary schools. Therefore, I had to play part as I
gave them more words of encouragement and lots of examples.

The slow and moderate are assisted with simpler examples while the
fast learners are asked to be the debaters for the rehearsal.
