THIS IS UPPERCASE TEXT IN ARIAL 12 FONT IN THE HEADER

This is Broadway font 16 point size centered on the page.

This is Franklin Gothic Book 24 point size left justified.

Most documents are typed in Arial 12 point or for a more formal type, Times New Roman 12 point.
Text can be justified on the left of the page
Centered on the page
Or right justified on the page.
Back to Arial 12 point. By the way, as Word experts, you should be able to spot spelling mistakes and correct them. ( a mark if you do
not correct them!)
This is a neat feature of Word. I click on the Outside Border button and as I type the border around my type keeps expanding.
Another cool feature is the ability to highlight text so that the reader is drawn to some important points in my document. When you print
this out on the laser printer it will show up lightly.
I can also change the color of the font by highlighting the text, clicking the font color button and changing the color. Change the text in
this sentence to green.
Adding numbered lists is easy.
1.
2.
3.
4.

Simply type the first line and press the Numbering button. See how the first line is numbered?
From this point on, each time you press enter to get to the next line, the next number will appear.
See???
Make it stop! (Backspace on the next line to get rid of the 5)
Bullet points are nice too.
You can change the bullet style too.
See if you can figure out how to change the style.

Text can be bolded, underlined, bolded and underlined, and italicized to draw the readers attention to parts of the document.
This is a different font type, see
The name of the font is: _Comic Sans_
