Aim: to consolidate infinitives of purpose. This worksheet is designed to be used in conjunction with unit 12.2. Time: 40 minutes Materials: photocopies of the worksheet for each student.
Direct students to the exercise and monitor carefully. If you feel the students are struggling over some of the longer sentences, e.g. number 5 or 6, give them a couple of the first words of the sentence to help. In addition, if necessary elicit the first answer as an example. Ask students to check their answers in pairs. Elicit answers from the whole class.
