Yankee
Yankee Doodle was originally sung by the British soldiers to poke fun at the poorly dressed and awkward colonial soldiers during the French and Indian War (1754 - 1763). Later, during the Revolutionary War (1775-1783), the song became popular with the colonists and they adopted it as their own.

Eighth Notes
If you divide a quarter note into two, you get two eighth notes. Sometimes when there are two eighth notes together, instead of making them like this they are hooked together, and look like this
Eighth notes may also be joined together like this

Harmony: the combination of sounds of different notes to form chord.
(Born 1770 - Died 1827 at the age of 56)
Ludwig van Beethoven was a German composer and virtuoso pianist. He was an important figure in the Western classical music, and remains one of the most famous musicians of all time. Beethoven suffered from gradual hearing loss beginning in his twenties. He continued to compose his masterpieces, and to conduct and perform, even after he was completely deaf.
Ludwig van Beethoven
47
Over time, his hearing loss became profound: there is a well-attested story that, at the end of the premiere of his Ninth Symphony, he had to be turned around to see the applause of the audience; hearing nothing, he began to weep. Ode to Joy is an ode written in 1785 by the German poet, Friedrich Schiller, known especially for its musical setting by Ludwig van Beethoven in the fourth and final movement of his Ninth Symphony.
Can you find the interval of a 4th in this piece?
