Some miscellaneous points: 1. Do not carry fruits/vegetables/rice/any cooked item/seeds and anything that can grow. They are not allowed by customs. 2. Do not spend much on thermal wear/jacket/winter stuff. Can buy things here. 3. Bathroom slippers are rare to get. Take 2. 4. Most of the apartments have microwave oven. Porcelain cups, plate and a glass bowl would be helpful. 5. Small containers for storing items are also necessary. 6. Take a photocopy of all relevant certificates and relevant IDs. Better to keep a scanned copy in laptop. 7. Buy a neck-rest. It would help during travel. 8. Liquids not exceeding 100ml is allowed to be carried in cabin baggage, exception being medicines.

9. Cosmetic/daily use items like toothpaste, deodorant and other liquids with the ceiling mentioned in point 8 have to be displayed separately in a quart-size Ziploc cover during security check. 10.Remove jacket, shoes, belt, watch, laptops and empty pockets during security check. 11.Check out with the airline the baggage allowance and the dimensions allowed. For example: For most airlines, check-in baggages dimensions should add up to a maximum of 157cms. Cabin luggage other than laptop bag/back-pack should not weigh more than 8 kilograms.
