INTRODUCTION TO FEROZE GANDHI UNCHAHAR POWER PLANT


It is a thermal power plant of installed capacity: 1050 MW

Stage 1 = 2 X 210 MW Stage 2 = 2 X 210 MW Stage 3 = 210 MW PRODUCTION INPUT

COAL SOURCE:
Central Coal Ltd.(CCL) Bharat Cooking Coal Ltd(BCCL)

WATER SOURCE:
Sharda Sahayak Canal (Main) Dalmau Pump Canal ( From River Ganga)

REQIREMENTS
Coal -140 tones/hr/unit Water-700 tones/hr/unit COST OF GENERATION

Rs. 2.40/kwh
