(He should &i/e a si&nal' on ca$era or to the !loor$en%. 2. Start pic in& up stand slowly and !loat lin tilt. 8. Ensure lin tilt !ully retracted and sa!e to lower. 8. >loor$en should ha/e rope around stand "ein& pic ed up at drill !loor le/el and tail the stand o/er to the rotary ta"le. 9. 3hen at the tool @oint' wait until the stand has steadied and slowly lower into "o* at stu$p. 10. Ensure no wei&ht on ele/ators as the !loor$en spin in the stand to the stu$p. 11. >loor$en tor9ue up stand with ton&s. 12. 3hen tool @oint tor9ued correctly slowly pic up until wei&ht seen on <artin ,ec er and raise strin& !ro$ slips. (>loor$en re$o/e slips%. 1). Start descent slowly and increase speed as re9uired' co/erin& disc "ra e at all ti$es. 1+. 1elease to&&le when nearin& rotary and "loc s will slow down. Ensure controlled slow speed as !loor$en place slips in rotary. Slac o!! wei&ht &ently and !loor$en unlatch slips. 1epeat as per procedure. Boint is held low to !loor as dri!t will drop out' personnel to "e aware o! this and watch their !eet. 4

9. 3inch operator pic s up @oint with winch and drill crew tail @oint to $ousehole. 1e$o/e $ousehole co/er and lower @oint into sa$e in a controlled $anner. 10. 3hen @oint on "otto$' drill crew re$o/e pic ups and lower to catwal care!ully. 11. ,riller then e*tends lin tilt and drill crew latch ele/ators around @oint in $ousehole. 12. ,riller then pic s up at a controlled speed' watchin& position o! all personnel and !loats lin tilt hal! way up the @oints len&th. 1). >loor$an then wal s @oint to stu$p and steadies sa$e. 1+. ,riller &ently lowers @oint into "o* on stu$p' ensurin& all wei&ht o!!. 10. >loor$an then spins in @oint and tor9ues up sa$e with ri& ton&s. 12. ,riller then pic s up slowly' ta in& wei&ht' as !loor$en re$o/e slips. 18. 3hen slips re$o/ed' driller lowers strin& throu&h rotary ta"le. 1epeat as per procedure. P."+#i+e$ DRI''ING CONNECTIONS 1111 CHECK TO CH SCREEN AND DETER!INE THAT 'OW SPEED IS SE'ECTED 11111 1. ,riller proceeds upwards to collect ne*t stand at controlled rate. Slac s o!! the drawor s to&&le when nearin& the $on ey "oard. He can watch this operation on ca$era and stops operation at derric $an-s re9uired hei&ht. 2. ,riller e*tends lin tilt. ). ,erric $an then places stand in ele/ators and latches sa$e. ,erric $an should si&nal at ca$era or down to !loorhands' who should "e loo in& up. +. ,riller slowly pic s up and !loats the lin tilt. 0. >loor$en ha/e tail rope around the drill pipe rac ed "ac and they dri!t the pipe o/er to the rotary ta"le. 2. ,riller raises stand to tool @oint hei&ht and then slowly lowers pin into "o* at stu$p. 8. ,rill crew then spin in pipe and tor9ue up usin& ri& ton&s ensurin& rotary ta"le is unloc ed. 8. ,rill crew then loc rotary ta"le. 9. ,riller alters ca$era an&le and Coo$s in to pipe handler. He then lowers the "loc near the "o* and stops. He then ensures that the .,S is in !orward rotation and puts on spin. He lowers a&ain ensurin& the "o* end enters the pipe &uide and care!ully spins into the stand' watchin& the <artin ,ec er. 3hen screwed in the driller then tor9ues up the stand to the correct tor9ue. He then opens the =:OP. 10. ,rill crew unloc s the rotary ta"le. 11. ,riller then pic s-up and drill crew re$o/e the slips. 12. ,riller then switches on the pu$ps slowly watchin& &au&es and esta"lishes his drillin& para$eters. 7ontinue procedures as re9uired.
