PHYSICAL WORK Site-coordinator Identify all necessary information from the approved shop drawing. Evaluate site condition to ensure sufficient space for installation of AHU and it's accersories. Selected AHU then shift to the designated location using tower crane or mobile crane. Hoisting canvas sling is used at every corner or the AHU to avoid damage to the AHU panels. The neoprene pad then inserted below each corner of the AHU once it is lower to the concrete plinth. Properly align and connect chilled water pipe to the AHU complete with vavle etc. The pipe connection between the AHU and pipework shall have flexible rubber joint/coupling. Properly align and connect the flexible canvas joint to the main ductwork. Properly align and connect the condensate drain for proper dischage location. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE Air filters are to be cleaned at least four times a year and in case of major clogging, change the air filters. Check and adjust if necesssary the tension and alignment of the belt. Ensure the pulley set screws are properly tightened and there is no crack on the pulley. Turn the blower manually and ensure it is running smoothly without any excessive bearing noise. Check and remove any clogged item/dirt between coil fins. Check voltage, current, wiring and all connection.

Ensure the foundation or mounting arrangement and the duct connections are adequately in accordance with recognized acceptable engineering practices. Install rawl plug/flush anchor to slab soffit. The galvanised steel threaded rods are then joined the flush angle for hanging the fans with the spring isolator. The fan then shall be lifted up to the selected position by man power unless it is too heavy. (In this case, chain block shall be used). Expose to mechanical tools injury. Use proper PPE. Selected FCU then shift to the designated location using tower crane or mobile crane. Hoisting canvas sling is used at every corner or the FCU to avoid damage to the panels. Rawl plug/flush anchor are installed to the slab soffit prior istalling the units. The distance between the rawl plug must be measured and consistent with the distance between the bracket opening. Threaded rod of galvanised steel and is then joint to the rawl plug with 10mm thick neoprene pad. For FCU with blower motor size bigger than 2 hp, spring isolator shall be used. FCU is then lifted up by manpower with the use of scafolding and fixed to the bracket with double nuts and washers. The bracket/treaded rod shall be vertically straight. To provide carefull testing & commissioning for the installed ductworks. Fabrication in factory are to be based on measurement from approved shop drawings. Final adjustment are to be measured at site for offsets or transitions to suit the application and to avoid clashing with other trade. All ducts protruding through walls and floors and exposed to view are to be provided with a neat galvanized steel frame fixed to ducts and to walls or floor as appropriate. Where ducts extend beyond external walls or roofing they were to be flushed with fully welded or soldered joints and completely weather proof. Ductwork with minimum 25 mm thick are to be 3 wrapped with 32 kg/m density fiberglass backed with reinforced aluminum foil. For ductwork below the roof and in non air-conditioned space, the insulation 3 are to be minimum 50 mm thickness, 32 kg/m density fiberglass back with reinforced aluminum foil. All ductwork unless acoustically/ internally lined, are to be externally insulated During installation, open duct ends are to be covered with a plastic or tarpaulin to prevent ingress of unwanted materials. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE Air filters are to be cleaned at least four times a year and in case of major clogging, change the air filters. Check and adjust if necesssary the tension and alignment of the belt. Ensure the pulley set screws are properly tightened and there is no crack on the pulley. Turn the blower manually and ensure it is running smoothly without any excessive bearing noise. Check and remove any clogged item/dirt between coil fins. Check voltage, current, wiring and all connection.
