imc FAMOS I - Beginner's Training Session

Course Content:

Default settings and options: o How do I adapt imc FAMOS to my purposes? o Where are the basic control settings located? o Tips and tricks for fine tuning imc FAMOS imc FAMOS User Interface: o Input boxes, introduction to simplified input of text o Toolbox with interactive help and the Function Assistant o Creating ones own Toolbox entries (Favorites) o Variables List with introduction to basic data types Graphical display of measured data o Configuring the display of measured data (scaling, colors, etc.) o Display styles for measured data (standard graphics, bar charts, waterfall diagrams, color map display, numerical readout) o Graphics-based reading and correction of measured values Introduction to basic imc FAMOS functions o Calculation of the datas statistics o Signal smoothing and filtering o Performing mathematical operations on measured data streams o .... First steps toward automation of measurement routines o Basic principles of creating sequences o Simple elementary sequences o Fundamentals of automated display of measured data o Fundamentals of automated creation of measurement reports

imc FAMOS II - Signal Analysis and Automation Building on the users previously acquired skills, in this training session, the participants ability to create automated analyses is expanded. By means of the participants enhancement skills, it will be possible to automate complex routines. Target Participants: Users who wish to create complex analyses with imc FAMOS.

Course Content:

Consolidation of automation fundamentals: o Use of the Sequence Editor o Loops o Text replacement ( < > ) o Use of the File-Kit for den handling measured data o Targeted isolation of events Working with the Project Management o Creating ones own projects o Organized working with projects o Tips and tricks for project management

Duration: 1 Day (9:00 am 4:30 pm)

imc FAMOS III - Dialogs and Data-Browser With its Dialog-Editor, imc FAMOS offers the ability to provide an interactive user interface, particularly for the purpose of complex analysis routines. This makes it easy for the user to make necessary inputs and selections, without needing to exit the imc FAMOS environment. Target Participants: Users who wish to create complex and interactive analysis routines with imc FAMOS. Prerequisites: Basic skills in automation and analysis with imc FAMOS. Participants should be familiar with the main content of the imc FAMOS I and imc FAMOS II training sessions. Course Content:

Use of the Dialog-Editor o Fundamentals of creating dialogs Explanations of the selected dialog elements o Button o Curve window o Input box o Text box o Table o .... Using the Data-Browser o Fundamentals of data visualization o Fundamentals of user interactions Modification of existing sequences to dialogs and Data-Browser o Tips and tricks for modifications o Interplay of dialogs with sequences o Interplay of projects o Automated starting of dialogs or Data-Browser by "running a project" o Starting projects, dialogs and the Data-Browser by command line
