StudioTutorial 3D Features v2012

This document provides a tutorial for detecting and creating 3D features in Geomagic Studio 2012. It describes how to analyze a partial die scan to automatically segment it and extract cylindrical features. It then explains how to manually select additional cylindrical features and export the features as an IGES file to import into CAD software for downstream applications like subtracting holes. Alternatively, parametric exchange can be used to directly send the cylindrical features to CAD if the software is installed locally.
