INTRODUCTION
This monthly report provides a record of activities, program for the project management service
Phase of the Nhon Trach 2 Combined Cycle Power Plant Project.
The report presents project information for the month of July 2009.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
SIW ongoing and supervision underway
Site occupancy from PMC so design review all disciplines started.
OVERVIEW OF ACTIVITY
The main activities in July were:
Fecon / Shanghai established on site as the Soil Improvement Work sub-contractor.
Continuing supervision of site activity related to Soils Improvement Works (SIW) being
carried out by PECC2, PMCs appointed site inspectors.
Vendor assessments of proposed new vendors from the contractor
Continuing review of Lot1, 2, 3 and 4 design works as follows
Civil Temp design documentation, structural, SIW, Gas, Oil, water & general layout
docs.
Elect HV & Aux transformers, LV & MV motors
Mech Noise protection concept
General QA/QC, HSE & General layout docs reviewed.
Key events during the project month
Continuation of soil improvement works on site in all Zones.

Effective date of EPC Contract 29th April 2009
Water required from Owner 27th May 2010
Fuel Gas required from Owner 20th November 2010
Fuel Oil required from Owner 2nd January 2011
GT11 Open Cycle PAC 1st March 2011
GT12 Open Cycle PAC 31st March 2011
Commercial Operation Date (COD) 30 October 2011 (from a 29 month EPC period)
Gas supply availability end November 2010 would allow a sufficient commissioning period for
Open Cycle Operation in March 2011.
