For The Love Of Instant Noodles
One of the common characteristic of instant noodle is they need only little or
no cooking. They can be eaten by adding only hot water or the most complex way is
boiling the noodles for a few minutes. Instant noodles are always come with
seasoning packets for flavoring. The most important is it is very convenient and
cheap. As we all know, it is easy to buy at any shop or hypermarket too.

According to the information given, a 75g pack of instant noodle carries about
300 to 350 kilocalories that is contributed about 45g of carbohydrates, 8g of protein
and 13g of fat. The ingredients of an instant noodle are tapioca flour, vegetable or
palm extracts, and salt with added food conditioners. The seasoning packets contain
of salt, sugar, mixed spices, soy sauce and flavor enhances. Some of the instant
noodles are with vitamins and minerals but most of them are not with patency the
amounts of other nutrient.

Many people had said that instant noodle is harmful to health because of the
food additives and high sodium content. They categorize instant noodles as junk food
and are not safe to eat during pregnancy. Besides that, people also claims that
instant noodles release toxin when boiled. The monosodium glumate in the
seasoning packets will cause consumer fat and balding too. The most serious is
instant noodles will cause cancer.

For all the rumors above, Prof Winnie Chee has said that There is no science
supporting that. As she said, the food additives in instant noodles are stable at high
temperature. Hence, it is safety for boiling. Furthermore, instant noodles are actually
harmless. It is safe to eat as long as we control the number of consuming in a week
and the way consuming it. I think that peoples are now has preconception of instant
noodles and had a lots of misunderstands. We should make them clear that instant
noodles are actually safe to consume as long as we control not to take too much.

There are some ways to consume instant noodles in a better way. For
examples, add an egg or vegetables when boiling the noodles to make it more
balance. Prof Chee has also advised that minimize intake and keep it balance when
you take it. For my suggestion, I think that one can put some meat inside too to make
it more healthier and more nutrients. Not only that, reduce some of the seasoning
when boiling. For examples, add only half packet of the seasoning when we cook it.
2.0 Article 2
Holding Hands For Safety
There are many ways that had been taken to make children safety when they
start their preschool. One of them is many preschool centres have strict pick-up and
drop-off protocols for parents. Even though it can make sure children safety through
this, yet it has always caused traffic jam outside and inside the school compound. I
suggested that teachers can divided them into groups and asked their parents to pick
according time. In this way, the traffic jam problem can be solved.

Besides that, primary schools are a bit different from preschools. Primary
schools teachers teach students with the right safety knowledge as this can make
sure the students are safety all the time. Yet, I am not so agree with this. Primary
schools children are still very young especially primary one student. Even the
teachers had teach them the road safety rules, they still may not be able to take any
action when suddenly a car come in a high speed.

Not only the schools but also the car manufacturer has organized a Toyota
Traffic Tots (TTT) programme in selected Smart Reader Kids preschool centre.
Children can learn the rule of road safety in a more interesting way and get know the
dangerous of road. It is a good way to introduce road safety to children.

When we are young, our parents always hold our hands when we cross a
road. This is the simplest ways to make sure the children are safety. Nevertheless,
most of the parents stop practicing it since their children are at five. For me, the habit
of holding hand still can be practice if the children have not learned to cross a road
properly. At some time, parents must teach them the proper to cross the road too.

There are five main aspects that mostly related children with road safety.
Experiencing that first taste of independences is usually cause preschool children in
an accident. This is because they feel excited to start schooling and forget about their
safety on the road. Besides that, the next reason is the bucking under peer pressure.
Children will always follow their friends to do some danger acts such as put their
hands out of the windows of a moving car. Curiosity kills the cat. We can always see
a news that a children run across the road to chase a ball or an animal. Due to
children is in a small build, most of the driver would not realize that they are infront or
behind their car. Accident often happened when parents reverse their car. The last
reason is children are distracted by the entertainment and cause them in an accident.

Our Blood Cockles Are Dying. Can We Stop Killing?
The harvest of blood cockles had decrease through this few years. Since
2012, the fisherman found that their harvest was mostly empty shells. The growth
rate of the cockles are also becoming slower and slower. The fisherman claims that
this situation is caused by the water pollution.

According to one of the fisherman, the black water reeked that happened last
year make his hand itched after contact with the water. Besides that, the son of the
fisherman also said that during low tide, the smell is still nauseating until now. This
can obviously shows that the water has been polluted. In my point of view, it
influenced the growth of the cockles.

Cockles need to live in a healthy and clean environment. They usually live in
the mangrove mudflats. This is because it contains rich of nutrients and clean water
without any contaminants. Due to the water becoming dirty day after day, the cockles
cannot even find a clean place that provides them with enough nutrients. Hence,
cockles growth speed become slower too.

When the fisherman demonstrates their deft cockles harvesting skills using a
steel cage tied to a long mangrove wood pole, they not only found that most of the
cockles are too small but with plastic bags too. Nowadays, many people like to throw
rubbish anywhere including to a river or sea. Strict action such as refund should be
taken so that every residents discipline themselves not to throw rubbish anywhere.

The last point that cause the water pollution was the aquaculture. Mr Mohd
Faddilah was a fisherman. He said that there were prawn aquaculture farms near
them. Nevertheless, some of the aquaculture have ceased operating. This is
because they discharged the chemicals used to clean their pond into the same sea.
This has made their harvest and breeding of cockles decrease.

In my opinion, the man who is incharged should take action as soon as
possible if there is still aquaculture which discharge chemical to the sea so that the
water can recover back. Besides that, the one who do aquaculture should think of a
best way such as not using the chemical so that it would not caus the water pollution.
Take care of our environment, is all our responsible.

Ten Top Special Traits That Make People Say They Are Proud to Be Malaysians

A very good morning I greet to our beloved lecturer, Madam Hadzrawiah Bt.
Abu Kasim and my fellow classmates. First of all, I would like to introduce the title of
the article that I have chosen which is Ten Top Special Traits That Make People Say
They Are Proud to Be Malaysians. Yesterday was our National Day and I believe
that everyone had celebrated it. During the national month, we see phrases like
Proud to be Malaysian, I love Malaysia and so on. Yet, do all of you know what
are the reasons that actually make us proud to be a Malaysian?

According to the article, the first thing that makes people proud to be
Malaysian is food. Our Malaysia food are mostly influenced by the three races. There
are nasi lemak for Malay, Char Kuey Teow for Chinese and roti canai for Indians.
Besides that, it is usual to meet Malays who can speak Mandarin very well or vice
versa. It is amazing where we can use three different languages in the same
sentence and still be understood by our friends. For example, Tauke, hot milo satu.

Other than food and language, we can live peacefully with different faiths in
Malaysia. People in Malaysia respect each other and do not offend friends with
different faiths just as we would not eat in front of Malay friends during their fasting
month. In Malaysia, there are Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur which is a
symbolic of modern building while there are also well preserved prewar buildings
among the KLs streets. Malaysia also has two Unesco World Heritage Cities. They
are George Town in Penang and Malacca. We can learn the history from these old
buildings.

In Malaysia, especially the rural area, you can feel that the residents are all
very friendly because of their smile. Strangers can easily addressed them with a
warm aunty or uncle or kak and mak cik. They are kind to help whoever that is
in need. Other than the people, Malaysia is a place which is free from disaster and
war. Our peace and stability make Malaysia an attractive place for tourism. At the
same time, we are proud that we have many beautiful spots such as natural beaches
and mountains, historical building and grand shopping outlets.

Achievements of Malaysia are also a point that we can be very proud of. We
have Datuk Lee Chong Wei, Pandalela Rinong and Datuk Nicol Ann David, where
they are the legend of sports for Malaysia. The last but not least is the international
events that organized in Malaysia. Our international events are increasing in number
through the years such as Formula 1 in Sepang and the Redbull Air Race in
Putrajaya. The George Town Festival in Penang had also attracted a lot of tourists to
visit Malaysia.

After I read this article, I feel very happy that we are all very proud to be
Malaysians. For me, the things that I feel proud of Malaysia the most are not the
achievements, the facilities, the attractions or the buildings, but we, the people. We
are all with different religions, different races, different language and different cultures,
but we are just like a big family. We live in Malaysia with tolerance, respect and
helping each other. This makes me feel very amazing even some of us cannot even
communicate with each other because of the language barrier. Nevertheless, we
found our own way to communicate and live happily together.

In a nutshell, there is no doubt that I am proud to be a Malaysian. Thank you
for your attention and stay healthy.
