ORUNMILA

The document is a prayer to Orunmila, who is described as witness of fate, second only to God, more powerful than medicine, and able to avert death. Orunmila is called lord, almighty, mysterious spirit who fought death, bringer of equilibrium to the world, repairer of ill luck, and one who provides immortality and infinite knowledge. The prayer expresses that not knowing Orunmila fully leads to futility, and knowing him completely would resolve all problems.
