392, that was the total in Sunday School this past Sunday

morning. They were there out of faithfulness or from an invitation to

attend. Look at what we can do if we continually invite folks to FBC.
By the way, 25 classes had 100% attendance or better this past Sunday.
Congratulations to the 2 Yr. Old class for winning the trophy and to the
teachers for earning a fish fry!
Great things are happening and I am so excited to see God
moving in our midst. Beginning next Tuesday evening at 6:30, Calvin
and Sonjia Brownhill will be leading a study of EPHESIANS in the
Fellowship Hall. This study is open to everyone.
AGENTS OF THE APOCALYPS, A STUDY OF THE BOOK
OF THE REVELATION, by Dr. Jeremiah will be held at 10 AM and
again at 6:30 PM on Thursdays beginning Sept. 17. Study guides are
$10 apiece and may be ordered through the church office.
This will be a ten week study.
REVIVAL Services will begin Sunday morning, Sept. 27.

for our Revival speakers, SundayRev. Thomas Snead; MondayRev. Brad Price; TuesdayRev. Jack Armstrong; and Wednesday
Dr. Kenneth Cloud. Or you can prepare by attending our pre-revival
prayer meetings that will be held at the church during our Wednesday
and Sunday evening service times.
A special thank you to all who helped to make our Tailgate
Party a success. God blessed us with a wonderful day and reminded us
of what could be ours if we submit to serving Him.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday in service to the Lord.

FELLOWSHIP CLUB
Another exciting year of inspiration and fellowshipping begins
on Monday, September 14, as our Fellowship Club resumes.
Join your friends at noon that day. You will be blessed!

CHRISTMAS MUSICAL
I HEAR THE PROPHET CALLIN. All Adult singers are
invited to be a part of this musical which shares the prophecy
and fulfillment of Gods promise of a Saviorthrough Jesus!
The music is based on American Appalachian tunes and styles
and will be led by a live instrumental group! Free books and
rehearsal CDs are available. I am looking for a few good instrumentalists to accompany the musical in December. Please
contact me if you could play or recommend anyone on: flute,
oboe, percussion, horn, autoharp, hammered dulcimer, violin,
viola, cello, or double bass.

GRADED CHOIRS
Parents, please bring your child to choir next Wednesday.
Schools are back in session and we have an exciting year of
music and praise in store for each of our children. Choirs meet
from 5:45 to 6:25 each Wednesday evening.

SAINTS ALIVE
We had a great rehearsal Monday. If the new shirts arrive
soon, I will get them to you on Sunday morning, so we can
wear them this Sunday night. We plan to sing in the evening
worship time. Weve begun rehearsing the new music for our
annual Senior Adult Choir Festival. Senior Adult Choir Festival dates are: October 26-27. Clear your calendars for this two
day trip to Toccoa, GA. We always have a great time in the
beautiful mountains of NE Georgia. Due to Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 7, the church office will be
closed and we will not rehearse. Well meet back together on
Monday, September 14.

Early and Extended Session

Are you willing to serve in Early or Extended Session this year? Volunteers
work during either the 9 am or 11 am services every 6 weeks with infants
through 4 year olds. Please contact me if you are interested.
Special thanks to those individuals who worked last year, those coming back
this year to help or those who have just signed on! You will get a new
schedule starting with Sunday, October 4th.

Children's Worship Service

Beginning this Sunday, our service will take place during the 9 am
Contemporary Service. Children will attend the Contemporary service with
their parents and then be dismissed to Children's Worship in the Fellowship
Hall during the offering. From the Children's Worship, they will be dismissed
to Sunday School. We had 22 children at our first service. We hope to see
your child there on Sunday!

Family Fun Night! Tailgate Party Friday, September 18

Join us as we cheer on Bainbridge High School as they compete against
Thomasville. We will gather in the Gold Parking lot any time after 6 pm
(alongside the Foundations Sunday School class). The Children's Ministry
will provide the pizza and paper products, you bring your favorite tailgate
food, drinks and chairs. We look forward to seeing you there!

Trunk or Treat Wednesday, October 28 7-8 pm

Children are invited to bring their candy buckets and visit cars for treats and
games! But we need YOUR help. You can participate in the following ways:
1. Decorate a car. Sunday School classes, small groups or individuals are
invited to decorate a car (you can enter more than one car, just make sure you
have two people to man each vehicle). The children's committee has many
ideas to help get your creative ideas flowing. You may even consider hosting
a game or snack from your vehicle. Sign up on the sheet in your Sunday
School folder. Prizes will be awarded again this year.... and will be bigger
and better!
2. Donate candy. We are asking cars to bring some candy, but we need so
much more! Please drop off individually wrapped candy to the bucket
outside the church office.

What's Happening:
September 6 No AWANA
September 18 Family Fun Night
September 23 No RAs, GAs, Mission Friends

This past Sunday was such a great day in the life of

our church as we gathered together as one body to
worship together and then afterwards to fellowship,
eat, and tailgate together. I do want to talk about how
proud I am of our students. We had 67 in attendance
for our student department which consists of Sixth
grade through College. Out of the 67 in attendance
our 9th and 10th grade class had the highest number
with 25 total. To God be the glory. What a sight it
was to see classes full and the worship service full.
Numbers represent something and when we look at
our numbers from this past week we must remember
that theses numbers represent people. People who
are created in the image of God, people who were
created to love and worship creator God. Lets keep
that in mind and reach out to the people that were
here this past Sunday and let them know we have
missed them and love them.
A couple of dates to keep in mind for our students are
September 23 which is See You At The Pole and
October 14th which is Fields of Faith. Be looking
out for information concerning these upcoming
events. See you Sunday!!
Blessings,
Jeff
