Description
Validate Report
Verifies the XML specification against the package.
Show Specification
Displays the XML specification for the design of the report.
Run Report
Runs a report in the following output options: HTML, PDF, XLS, CSV
and XML. Other run options, such as language and bursting, can also be
specified.
Lock/Unlock
Locks and unlocks all layout objects in a report. Unlocking lets you
manipulate the contents of some objects.
View Tabular Data
View only tabular data. Use to ensure that the correct results appear.
Filter
Focuses a report and minimizes processing time by excluding unwanted
data.
Suppress
You can suppress rows, columns, or rows and columns based on divide
by zero, missing, and overflow values.
Sort
Sorts selected column(s) or row(s) in ascending or descending order.
Aggregate
Adds a summary calculation to the end of selected column(s) or row(s).
Group/Ungroup
Groups items in a report to remove duplicate values.
Pivot List to Crosstab
Creates a crosstab report from a list report.
Section
Creates a section heading with grouped items below.
Swap Rows and
Columns
Swaps rows and columns within a crosstab.
Headers & Footers
Displays the headers and footers menu.
Insert Chart
Inserts a chart into the current report.
Build Prompt Page
Add prompts for a selected data item to a separate page, preceding the
report.
Drill-Through Definitions
Specify drill-through target(s) for a selected item within the report.
Insert Table
Define the number of rows and columns for table.

Subsets of a model, containing items that you can add to a report.
Folder
Organizes data items. A folder cannot be imported into a report.
Namespace
Used to prevent naming conflicts within a package. Can contain a variety
of objects such as dimensions, query subjects, and model filters.
Query Subject
A grouping of related query items.
Query Item
A representation of a column of data in a data source.
Measure
A performance indicator that is quantifiable and is used to determine how
well a business is operating.

Data Items
Displays the data items for each query contained in the report.
Toolbox
Contains objects that you can add to the report, such as text and
graphics.

Query
Retrieves data for reports. Can contain data items added from a package
and calculated data items. Can also contain detail filters, summary filters,
and slicers.
Join
Creates an inner join or outer join relationship between a field in one
query and a field of the same data type in another query.
Union
Combines two or more queries into one result set and includes all data
retrieved by the combined queries.
Intersect
Combines two or more queries into one result set and includes only data
that is common to the combined queries.
Except
Combines two or more queries into one result set and includes only data
for one query that is not also retrieved by the other queries in the set.
