Ensure the crane operator is having valid certificate issued by third party
Follow work method statement.
Ensure the lifting plan is followed properly.
Ensure the lifting load is not exceeds the cranes lifting chart.
Ensure all operatives are trained and competent.
Ensure lifting permits is in place.
Explain the potential hazards to the work force prior to start the work.
Crane operator and riggers should be certified by third party.
Daily crane inspection to be done prior to start the work.
Minimize manual handling.
Lift the materials as lowest as possible.
Ensure workers not present under suspended load.

Use double fold the lifting chain / sling while free movement.
Workers to be cleared from the area when moving the beam.
Tagline to be provided both end of the load.
Rigger must keep the whistle to alert the other workers.
Lifting not to be carried out, if wind speed exeeds the project HSE rule.
Do not carry out any lifting operation in adverse weather condition (Heavy wind,
poor visibility etc).

Make separate walk way for pedestrians.
Put barricade and sign board aound the rotating equipment.
Place and follow traffic sign board and speed limit.
Mark and put the barricading sign boards on road crossings.
No over loading on the equipments and no over speed.
Ensure certified operator operates the equipment.
Certified and trained banks man to guide the equipment.
Maintain daily maintanance check list.
Banks man shall wear visible jacket (Red) and keep whistle for signaling.

Openyard work to be stopped during sand strom and heavy wind.

Manufacturer instruction to be followed when using mobile equipments.
Tie all light weight materials and provide close support to the structures.
