This bill proposes mandating gender specific bathroom facilities in all federal buildings by June 2017. It argues that public restrooms pose health and safety issues and that the transgender population is small. Federal buildings that fail to comply by installing gender specific bathrooms would be shut down until they do so. The Federal Sanitary Agency would oversee implementation and ensure facilities are funded through taxpayer money.
