What is meant by Aliasing?
Give the equations for A-law and u-law companding
Consider an analog information signal
S(t) = 5 cos (6000t) + 5 cos (8000 t) + 10 cos (10000 t)
Find the maximum value of sampling frequency considering,

An Audio Signal is required to be digitally transmitted with a sampling rate of
50kHz and 16 bits per sample using Linear PCM systems.
Calculate the minimum transmission data rate needed in the communication
channel in Gbps.
Differentiate Uniform and Non Uniform Quantization
Six Analog information signals, each band limited to 6kHz are required to be
time division multiplexed and transmitted by a TDM system.
