LP Tech Lesson

This lesson plan was created by Alexa Garrett for December 12, 2016. The objective is for students to pose questions about ethical, social, or medical issues related to human genetic disorders. Students will first complete a warm up activity reviewing patterns of inheritance and chromosome numbers. They will then be assigned genetic disorders to research using Chromebooks and a Padlet website. Students will pose questions about their assigned disorders and complete the assignment for homework. Their work will be assessed using a rubric and their participation in a follow-up class discussion.
