Summer Internship 2013

Image

Make sure that your image looks neat and proportionately resized

When you resize an image, press Shift key and resize so as to keep
proportion
Fit in your image uniform to all sides of the rectangular box placed to
contain image, If you find difficulty in same, remove the box and give an
outline to your image

Professional Experience

Center align vertically and horizontally - the content of the table, as per CV
format recommended

In Job Details, you can use bullet points or sentences but should include the
following

Roles and Responsibilities in job


Key achievements (if any)

Academic/ Special Achievements
Academic/ Special Achievements will contain all the important Projects / Field
Training / Workshops as well as Positions of Responsibility and other Academic/
non-academic achievements.
Projects / Field Training / Workshops

Avoid unused areas from Title. If you have mentioned only Projects and
Workshop details in CV, then your title should be Projects/ Field Training
Avoid mentioning projects which doesnt have recognition outside the
classroom.
If your Class Project is so presentable, then you can include the same
Freshers or others who have less content in CV can include Key Academic
Projects

Extracurricular Activities
These include your activities beyond Academics and Profession

Any interest can be mentioned provided you can speak about it for 10
minutes, and has something special about it from your friend giving the
same interview
Clearly identify where to include achievements If you think it is a valid
professional recognition, mention it in Special Achievements and otherwise
in Extracurricular

General

Any section which might seem irrelevant to you should be removed. Dont
write something under the heading to just fill it up for the sake of it
Mention Year wherever applicable
Avoid use of I.., My.., Me etc
Avoid Full stops for bullet points, titles and in Personal details
Avoid excess usage of word also in CV
Use First Prize.. instead of 1st Prize..
Use First Prize.. or First position.. instead of Got First.., Obtained
First.., Received First.. etc.
Use same Date format for DOB and for Date/ Place
Fill in details for Date & Place, do not leave this blank
If you do not have a landline number, delete the row completely
Write important numbers in words eg: Six months of experience..
instead of 6 months..
While Writing Specialization, use the following spacing format Finance<space>&<space>Marketing
Strictly use the font & Font size as given to you (Calibri)
Strictly use the recommended bulleting format (Avoid , numbering etc.)
While arranging your achievements based on timeline, mention your
recent achievements first, followed by older ones
Use bold formatting to important words only, too many bold words reduce
the impact fo the sentence
