onscreeninstructiontouninstallthesoftware.
Note:Beforeuninstallingsoftware,youmuststopallsoftwareprogramsfirstandlogin
asAdministrator!Otherwise,itcan'tbeuninstalledcompletely.

3.1. Startup
TheInstallerwillleaveashortcuticoncalledWatchPoweronyourdesktop.Referto

3.2.1.SoftwareUpgrades

l Specify the URL for update files: This is the directory to online update
software. Please do not change it unless its instructed by software
manufacturer.
l Savefilesto:Thedirectorytosavefilesinyourharddrive.
l Onlineautoupdate:Ifselected,itwillautomaticallycheckifthere isany
newversionlaunchedonlineevery1hour.
l Ifapplyingonlineupgrade,pleasefollowbelowforconfiguration:
1. SelectApplytheproxyconfiguration.
2. EnterIPaddressandportofserver.
3. IfIDidentificationisrequested,selectEnableauthenticationandenter
UserNameandPassword.
l Connectiontest:Clickthisbuttontotestifallconfigurationsaresetupwell.

4.1. WatchPowerConfiguration
4.1.1.Basic
Itistosetupparametersfordisplay.SelectWatchPowerConfiguration>>Basic.Refer

1. Pagerefreshinterval:Thisintervaltimewilldeterminehowlongthewebpageis
refreshed. Setting range is from 5 to 600 seconds. The default setting is 5
seconds.
2. Devices scan interval: This interval time will determine how long to scan
connecteddevices.Thesettingrangeisfrom5to600seconds.Thedefaultsetting
is5seconds.
3. Recordinterval:Thisintervaltimewilldeterminehowlongtorecordmonitoring

dataofinvertersintodatabase. Thesettingrangeisfrom30to600seconds.The
differencebetweeneachoptionis30seconds.Thedefaultsettingis60seconds.
4. Date format: This system supports 4 different formats, YYYYMMDD,
YYYY/MM/DD, MMDDYYYY and MM/DD/YYYY. The default setting is
YYYYMMDD.
Ifanychangeismade,simplyclickApplybutton.Then,thesettingwillbesaved.
4.1.2.Password
Itspasswordconfigurationforadministratoronly.Beforeoperatingandconfiguringthe
software, please login first and modify the password. The default password is
administratoratfirstlogin.Userscanonlybrowseinverterstatusandinformation
as Guest without login as an Administrator. A guest can not control or execute any
setting.

ThisconfigurationisallowedtosendanalarmmailfromSMTPserver.Fortheevent
receivinglist,pleaseconfigureinEventActioncolumn(refertosection4.1.5).
Tousethisfunction,theemailservicemustbecorrectlyconfiguredinthecomputer.All
valuesinthisfunctionpagearedefaultempty.Thisactioncantbeexecutedwithoutthe
SMTPinformation,emailaccount,andpassword.Besides,thesenderaccountshould
beallowedforSMTP/POP3forwarding.

listandclickDeletebutton.
Step4 ClickApplytosaveallchanges.TheTestbuttoncanbeusedtosendatest
emailtoallreceiverstoconfirmcorrectoperation.Whenthetestemailsare
successfullysenttospecificrecipients,itwillpopupasuccessfulmessageon
operatedpersonalcomputer.Otherwise,itwillpopupafailuredialogto
indicatethereisanerrorforparametersetting.
4.1.5.Eventaction
Its to configure response actions for events. It provides six response actions after
eventsoccur.
1.Eventrecord:Itwillrecordeventtodataloginsoftwareaftereventsoccur.
Thisfunctionisdefaultselected.
2.Warningmessage(s):Itwillsendeventmessagetotray.
3.SMS:Itwillsendtheeventmessagetospecificmobilephonenumbersafter
eventsoccur.
4.Email:Itwillsendtheeventemailtoassignedemailaccountsafterevents
occur.

Torealtimemonitorinverterdevice,itwillscaneachcom.portanytime.Inthis
