Amira Rashid's goal is to better manage her classroom to keep students quiet and motivated to work together. She reflected that a well-managed class allows students to stay engaged with the teacher and helps the teacher be more creative. Her strategies are to make rules, set clear expectations for behavior, give clear instructions, ask questions, and have students summarize lessons. These strategies have helped with making rules and instructions clear. However, she faces challenges with classroom management, time management, and ensuring students understand lessons in a short time. Her new goals are to improve classroom management, spend more time with students, and further discuss rules.
