Concept 1. Based on web based interface clearly priced translations within 3


working days.(mainly .com)

Customer will be able to upload or enter there to be translated document/text. After a


check on word count they are asked whether:
1. reread needed (recommended and surplus euro 0.04)
2. speed: quick 24h (surplus 0.02) vs normal lead-time 3 days
3. legal/technical document (surplus euro 0.02)

The given price can be send as offer or directly ordered. The ordered is to be paid by
credit card or other American payment. Needed from customer is only it emailadress
After the vendor will receive payment the customer will be send email with price and
delivery confirmation.

Order will be entered in excel data base (Excel: annex 1) for flow management and
management information (MIS) for future reference.

Order will be send by vendor to supplier.

Supplier will reply with translation and from page logo firma vendor, translation, last
page sales condition.

This will be forwarded after quick check from vendor to customer.

Concept 2: “We take away your translation headache and deliver what you want “
based on concept 1 but also having sub site for .nl .es .de .uk.com and consisting of
several pages:
1. translation only (concept 1)
2. website localization
3. software translations
4. translation and printing (ny form)
5. dvd dubbing

ad 2: price table
customer will be asked which languages and price per word + change for
website+10%?

Interface: weblocalisation-from/to-to-to-price per change +price per wrd

Customers: account. Upload. clear url. Via credit card payment?

ad 3: rfq based. Customer will be asked to upload software or write details on pages

So small difference in layout per country/language are to be expected.

Use of faces/people to increase confidence (e.g. http://www.ebc.nl )
Ad Concept 1 (1 page .com): more aggressive but trustworthy page (alike: 24h
translations.com)
Ad concept 2 (rest of pages): trust/ quality/ years of experiences. Shown in text and
references and the color.

Logo (see powerpoint for indication of style)


Logo will be used on the website. Also a macro layout is needed for Microsoft word
for:
a confirmation,
b offers
c. invoices
d. general letter
Also here trust and quality is key.

IV. Implementation
website:
Phase 1: design logo + building website concept 1.
Weekly update. Communication by email or telephone.
Deliverable is a working and tested with 3 cases website for .com with a MIS and
process flow 1 running. No faults found in the testing.
Ownership is for Alfalingo.com after payment. Files will be transferred to Alfalingo.
Copies can be kept but are treated confidential.

Language is English for text and programming.


Domain .com .uk.com .de .nl .es is ownership Alfalingo Translations

Project can be stopped by both parties if not satisfied

Phase 2: website .nl is running as one stop shop. concept 2.


Deliverables is a working and tested website .nl or uk.com in the English language.
Also running is the account module. No faults are found at 3 different tests.

Ownership is for Alfalingo.com after payment. Files will be transferred to Alfalingo.


Copies can be kept at supplier but are to be treated as confidential.

Language is English for text and programming.

Project can be stopped by both parties if not satisfied

Phase 3: translation to several languages.


Alfalingo will translate itself.

Phase 4: maintenance and changes of the website.


On base of request from customer Alfalingo changes can be made. Hour rate is fixed
at phase 1. Hours indication by web building company upfront.

Business plan steps:


a .Website 1 for .com and uk.com up and website concept 2 for .de .es .nl running.
Hosted in the Netherlands. No adds yet. Just free adds places like startpagine.nl etc
b. Get all supplier sources and flow in place. If earlier language not sources but
needed per direct email customer care
c. Start acquisition and advertisements
