IBM BIGFIX CONSOLE ACCESS

1. First we have to open IBM BIGFIX (IEM) console in IEM server where it is

status, etc. also available modules in the Left Below.

Directory, Workgroup administrator, also NT Domain)

name and password in the window

will install on the machines via remotely.

setup files,

EnterpriseBES InstallerClient Folder,
16.Copy the folder and paste to the required endpoints, then RUN the setup
filesclick NextChoose Install DirectoryClick NextFinish,

17. How to deploy patches to the endpoints

18.We can deployed patches to the endpoints multiple methods, like single
computer machine and choose the required patches and deployed, also we
have using baseline methods.
19.For example choose single machine in the console, it will show what is the
required patches to the selected machine from the console below right
sidefixlets message.

windowsselectcategorychoose which we want to deploy patches in the
right side area,

23.Selectall the fixletright clickchoose add new baselineand enter the


baseline (machine name) and select OK.

message please go down to the fixlet some fixlets are not add to the
same baseline (right side No default Action) massage shown.

26.After creating the Baseline go to All contents Baseline right work
areashown which we had created the baseline name. like

29. After reporting particular machine to the IEM server, it was shown in
the IEM console area Applicable Computerssame baseline.
30. Select Take Action option and choose endpoints and select OK.
31. The selected patches (using baseline) will remediate to the particular
endpoints successfully, like

36.We have create group using IEM Console Automatic group and Manual
group.

groupenter the Group name and choose which we want based on the
property like (OS, RAM, Computer name, CPU, etc) and choose
contains the name which we select in the property list.
