Difference Between Report and Memo

Reports and memos are common documents used to store and communicate information. Reports focus on relevant content for a specific audience, such as the results of an investigation. Memos are shorter documents used in business to record events or terms of agreements. The main differences are that reports use visual elements to persuade, cover a wider range of topics, and are more thoroughly researched, while memos are briefer documents used internally to convey information or changes in business.
